| The Commander dashed forward, spinning bullets out of the barrel of his XM8 Assault Rifle in the direction of potential enemies. He would not bother going in close to let them die by the blade. They were not worthy of such an honourable death, and were too pathetic too even illicit a personal encounter with Typho. He fired three bullets into the body of one of men, blood spraying out and splashing onto the Commander's armour in small patches. The Commander aimed at the next man, emptying two more shells into the man's face, creating large holes in it, the suppressed bullets flying out the back of his head. Blood and brain matter burst out onto the nearby walls, and the man fell back, as Typho switched his targeting HUD to the final guard, who was scrambling for his pistol, still partially blinded by the flashbang.
The man never got the chance. There were three small pfutt sounds and the guard was thrown of his feel, blood flowing out beside him immobile body. The Commander was already on the move, stepping onto and over the bodies, continuing on their bloody path of death and destruction. _________________ The title... | All the guards were dead. Typho and Tal'nar made a great team, without having to say anything, they now what the other is going to do and help him. Having passed this Y-junction, the T-junction was ahead.
According to the datapad, there weren't guards patrolling there, instead there were defensive turrets placed in the center of the T-junction, which react on movements. |

| The Commander signalled for Tal'nar to stop moving and take a knee next to him. They would have to plan this next obstacle carefully. The defence turrets couldn't be fooled like a regular humanoid or live creature, yet there were ways to bypass their sensor locators or make them inactive for a time being. Usually that required an EMP grenade or device, and unfortunately Typho hadn't brought any with him on the mission.
"Any suggestions on how to handle these turrets? We can't use stealth against them; they'll see right through that. We could go loud, and just blow them up using grenades, yet that places us at necessary risk. What do you think?" _________________ The title... It cannot be inherited, nor can it ever be purchased. | "Hmm. Motion sensors. We could throw something at them, making them target the object we have thrown and quickly run to them and disable them, or just pass them while they are still attacking the object. Though we'll need to be fast if we pull this off, they won't keep shooting the thing we're gonne throw. What do you think?"
This was a simple plan, though -when executed properly- could be very effective. |

| The Commander nodded to Tal'nar's suggestions, his mind already racing with the possibilities and potential consequences, yet quickly came to a decision. Reaching into his utility belt and pulling out an M320 Grenade Launcher, before attaching it to his XM8 Assault Rifle. He slipped out a 40mm grenade from the bandoleer strapped across his chest and loaded into the grenade launcher.
"I like your first suggestion, yet I don't plan on running up to them to disable them. Too much of a risk. We'll take them from range. If it makes a lot of noise and alerts the guards, so be it. Then they get to die faster."
Typho reached into his utility belt once more, lifting out a small ammunition clip for his pistol. It didn't bother him that he'd have to use it up; he rarely used his pistol unless he had to. With his XM8 Assault Rifle in one arm, and the ammo clip in the other hand, the Typho moved to a piece of cover, just outside the turrets' range. There were three turrets. He figured that a well placed grenade shot could take out two of them.
The Commander leaned back, and threw the ammo clip as far as he could. Instantly the turrets targeted it at began fire, their blaster shots speeding towards it. They would only have a few seconds to do this. Typho stepped out of cover and instinctively fired, the grenade launcher spitting out the 40mm grenade, which hurtled towards the center of the middle and left turret. A moment later it impacted, debris and ripped apart metal flying up in the air as it detonated, knocking two of the turrets out of action. The Commander dived back into cover, knowing that Tal'nar would handle the other one. _________________ The title... It cannot be inherited, nor can it ever be purchased. | Tal'nar still had 1 grenade on his utility belt, it wasn't enough to disable all of the turrets, but now that Typho disabled 2of them, that 1 grenade should be able to destroy the last turret. Tal'nar quickly grabbed the grenade of his utility belt, pushed the button and threw the thermal detonator with great concentration. The detonator fell right next to the turret and a second later, the detonator exploded, filling the air with debris from the turret next to it.
All of the turrets were destroyed now, so they were clear to head out again.
"I love it when our plans come together." Tal'nar smiled.
"Let's move on!!"
They headed right on the T-junction, like indicated on their datapad. Only 200meters left before they reached the entrance. |

| Typho spun his right hand out to the left to grasp onto the barrel on his XM8 Assault Rifle, his left hand on the trigger and handle, ready to spray painful death to anyone who came into view. He slowly rose off his crouched position, his aiming never wavering from its view. The two GTC operatives, a Trooper and a Imperial Agent, began moving towards their objective, making sure that they checked all possible ambush points and locations.
While they moved slowly, they moved cautiously, staying on-guard and never faltering. Fortunately for their enemies, they did not come across any more hostiles as they completed the last 200 metre trip of their journey. Perhaps the guards had found out what was happening and gone to regroup so that they might have a slim chance of prevailing against the two unstoppable killing machines... a very slim chance.
It didn't take long to reach the destination. An unguarded heavy durasteel door blocking their path. The guards probably left it unmanned thinking that their defences would take care of any intruders. Besides, there was no way that anything was going to get through that near indestructible deadlocked door. Well, almost anything.
"Looks like we're not going to be going quiet into this place. You got any high destructive explosives on you, or shall I use the "big boom" that Rex made for me?" _________________ The title... | Tal'nar searched his utility belt, but didn't find anything that was strong enough to blast the door.
Tal'nar gave Typho a pat on the back saying; "Let's see how good Rex's "Big Booms" really are, because I'm out of explosives." |

| Raame nodded, and reached into the larger compartments in his utility belt, sliding out four identical medium-size jet black explosives, all with Rex's personal explosive warning image on each of them. No doubt only one or two were needed to get the job, but the Commander preferred to be thorough, making sure that nothing within 50 feet of the blast radius would survive. He moved forward and knelt down, placing the explosives in a rectangular square around the four edges of the large durasteel door. The explosives automatically attached themselves on, the magnets in the metal slamming onto the durasteel of the doors. Nothing would be able to take them off now.
Typho primed each explosive, then began to move backwards, flipping out a detonator control as he did so. He signalled to Tal'nar to follow him and take cover a great distance away from the entrance. The explosives were indeed going to make a huge explosion. Once they had got about 60 feet away from the doors, Typho took cover behind a utility crate, to make sure that he wasn't hit by any stray shrapnel from the explosion. He looked over at Tal'nar, nodded once, and pressed down the detonation button. _________________ The title... It cannot be inherited, nor can it ever be purchased. | Almost instantly after Typho pressed the detonation button, the 4 explosives blew out the door with a huge explosion. Typho and Tal'nar had all reasons to get back and take cover because there were pieces of door and wall all around. Nothing that was standing behind that door could have survived that.
Once the smoke cleared up, Tal'nar and Typho got up and were heading to the 'entrance' they just created.
"Looks like Rex knows how to create explosives. I should get some from him too."
They passed through the entrance and made their way in to the underground base. There were no guards in sight, yet... |

| "Just make sure you never let that detonator out of your sight. You won't want to be having them go off prematurely."
Typho hoisted his XM8 Assault Rifle to his shoulder, taking point and marching through the blackened destroyed area. There were no signs of anything, dead or alive. It would have all been incinerated from the impossibly searing heat of the explosion. At least it made their job easier. Only downside was that every single person in the base would be alerted to their position, if they weren't already. All the more kills for Tal'nar and Typho that way.
"Let's go find this Zil Bhryne already. They'll probably be keeping her in the Detention Block. We've have to find and jack onto a layout terminal and find out where the hell that it. Let's move." _________________ The title... It cannot be inherited, nor can it ever be purchased. You and no one alive can buy it for any price. It is impossible to rent, and it cannot be lent. | Since Typho and Tal'nar didn't infiltrate the base by stealth but by heavy force, nearly everyone inside the base heard or felt the blast of the explosion. And if they didn't, they will know that something happened because of the alarm that was triggered.
"Well, now they know we're here, so I don't need this anymore."
Tal'nar unplugged the silencer from his rifle and put it back into his utility belt. Soon there were already a few guards coming out of a door inside the hallway they blasted in. Tal'nar took cover behind some crates that were standing against the left wall. Tal'nar and Typho were both prepared for battle and were ready to have, what they call, 'fun'.
3 guards were coming out of the door and quickly noticed Typho and Tal'nar and began firing at them, but it didn't take long before Tal'nar shot a guard down with a headshot and hit another one in his leg. |

| Typho leaned out of cover, snapping off two quick shots as he did so. They embedded themselves into the body of the charging guard, catch him off-balance and throwing him onto the floor, on top of the guard who had been hit in the leg. They lay their moaning in pain, the less injured guard more so, until Typho dispatched them with another couple of bullets. No need to leave a wounded animal in pain, he figured.
"Let's move, before they bring in reinforcements. We don't want to be held down while they pile up their guards."
Typho slowly raised himself out of cover, his rifle never leaving its position facing the front. He knew that Tal'nar would have his back, and he trusted that man with his life, so there'd be no need to keep on having to turn around to look for enemies.
"Keep your eyes peeled for a computer terminal. There'll probably be one around here somewhere, or maybe in a communication room."
The two men continued moving, watching out for guards and other personnel. Before long they would no doubt have a very large fight on their hands. Better to find the Operative and get the hell out of here. _________________ The title... It cannot be inherited, nor can it ever be purchased. You and no one alive can buy it for any price. | Typho and Tal'nar had to watch their steps if they didn't want more guards coming after them. There were security camera's almost in everywhere.
After a few minutes they've found a door that should lead to what is supposed to be a communication room. 2 guards were standing in front of the door, guarding the room. They didn't seem very aware of the 'danger' that was laying ahead of them.
Tal'nar decided to have some 'fun' and whistled to alert them to their presence. The guards immediately noticed Typho and Tal'nar standing in the hall-way and grabbed their guns. |

| The Commander watched them suddenly and desperately reach for their guns, and let out a dark, deep chuckle, the noise reverberating off the closed small corridor walls. The two guards were already dead, they merely hadn't realised it yet. Raame's left hand sped downwards, latching onto the grip of his DS-100 "Reaver" pistol. He span it upwards, and let off a single, loud bang. The .50 calibre bullet spat out from the barrel of the pistol, speeding towards one of the guards and embedding itself in his neck. He let out a strangled cry that was quickly cut off, as blood spurted out from his severed oesophagus. The guard fell to the ground, his blaster carbine skidding out of his grip and landing harmlessly a feet or two away from the body.
Typho watched the man's death in satisfaction, knowing that beside him Tal'nar would be dispatching the other guard. _________________ The title...
