Tainting Shadow for me

I think we should norrow it down one last time to the corruption and tainting shadow...that way everyones vote will count to the final decision

"Tainting Shadow", "Corruption" and "Corrupting Shadow" all sound kind of 'dark' in a way. More like a Sith cruiser then an organized crime organizations flagship, remember it would be our outward face since not everyone goes around chatting about 'The secret GTC base'. An icon that is to be respected by people needs a respectable name.

Well, it's been a week now, and the outcome looks final. I was originally going to finish off with a third round, if choices got very close, but many members agree that seeing as the Corruption has pulled far ahead, then we should not go into a third round, and finish off here.

With a lead of three votes, the Corruption is the name that most people in the guild think would suit the GTC capital ship. Congratulations goes to Typho for suggesting the name (No, I didn't rig the competition).

Now all is needed is the ship's class.

For the ship's class, I suggest the either the Lancea-class Battle-cruiser (Lancea is Latin for Lance), the Stilus-class Battle-Cruiser (Which is Latin for Pike). These suggestions stem from the fact that the Achilles is a long and thin ship, and it resembles a pike or lance. Another suggestion would be the Vindictus-class Battle-cruiser (Which is just an aesthetic choice, with no real reasoning behind it).

Well i may not have voted for this one but I am happy it has won its a good name.

As for class I like Lancea-class Battle-cruiser best. I don;t have any other suggestions.

I'm a fan of vindictus...though lancea is good as well.

I'll leave the suggestions open for a few more days, though if no one has anything else to suggest for the class of the Corruption, then I might as well make a poll with the ones I've suggested.

I thought Star Wars had its own type of classes, Like lancer, is one and there are others i can't remember.

Aye, but I felt that we should use our own unique class names, so we seem original. I thought it would also be nice to get a bit of that Latin feel somewhere in regarding our ship, whether it be the ship class or the actual ship's name, though we don't have to worry about that now.

Well, gents, it's been over a week since we began the suggestions for the class of the Corruption. Unfortunately, the only suggestions have come from me, so I guess you'll be voting for one of those three choices.
